Flying from Belgium to Germany ‘something’ flew straight into my engine with a loud smash followed by alarm bells. That’s probably a bad thing. Fuel flow was dead unless at very high throttle. Manifold pressure was through the roof. Seemed like I had bird giblets blocking up important bits.
I descended for a min before deciding that the engine was probably going to quit any minute and elected to land on a highway nearby.
