Today I put together an optional patch for the South Island.

If you fly over Lake Wanaka, you’ll notice that it’s a combination of ortho and water which usually looks quite good, but if the ortho is captured with large reflections, boat wakes or discolouration, then it’s a bad outcome.

So I’ve edited the ortho to be a more generic blue:

The replacement textures can be grabbed here. Simply overwrite the texture files of the tile: -45+169.
