Once you’ve come to grips with basic flight in the A-10C the next challenge is actually being able to find and prosecute targets. In this video I show you the basics of manipulating the Sensor of Interest and place the Sensor Point of Interest over a target so that a Continuously Calculated Release Point (CCRP) run can be setup to get a laser guided bomb onto the target. Fun stuff.
As always, you’ll need to be familiar with the A-10C’s cockpit, HOTAS controls and basic flight to follow along.
Up next I’ll probably focus on Continuously Calculated Impact Point (CCIP) runs. ie. Dive bombing with bombs, cannon and rockets.
